VA is pissing me off.

Are you on that last little nerve? Need to get something off your chest?

Here's the place to do it. Vent away!

So I have a claim in with the VA for disability, well it's an appeal from last time. It was estimated to be decidednOct 23rd. But they keep dragging their feet. They just extended the time they are waiting for my last employer to contact them. Which they are only supposed to wait a month. They also sent requests to my two employers before that one. Which they already have files from both of those from when I filed the first time.

I'm trying to get an appointment with my advocate to see what I can do about the files I know they already have. It feels like they are dragging their feet because their medical examiner said I couldn't work. Our savings can only last another month or so.

So yeah totally missed off.

Sorry the bureaucracy is hindering the process. I can understand that the dwindling funds makes things even more stressful.

Hopefully you will have some sort of news soon...
Snowflakes gently floating from the sky just dusting the ground. Then it picks up bigger fatter flakes cascading from space at a faster rate. From a dusting to a trace. Then the deluge comes. Oh what joy. Watching everything slow to a crawl, then a stop. Step outside and even with things moving it is quiet. It is a giant muffler the earth is wearing. Causing everything to be muted. To be calm.

Get copies of all of your medical records, and get copies of all new appointments in PDF format. Go to a Kinkos, copy center, or library and scan them to a USB drive. When they say they need a form that you've sent 2-3 times already, email it to them immediately.

The forms coming through the mail & the faxes are always having problems getting to who they need to, but emailing the form is instantaneous UNLESS they refuse to give you their work email, which has happened to us as well :/

When it's your deadline, it's important, when it's their deadline, it will be extended until you least expect it, so continue seeing your specialists. We're dealing with a life insurance appeal now and expecting disability with Cigna to be declined since it's going into a 2nd month extension :/.
