I went off of estrogen replacement about 6 months ago and I've been having stabbing pain in my nether region for the last 3 weeks. Needle stabs, almost making me fall, and several times a day. I've seen my gp and am waiting for a call to schedule a sonogram. We discussed the slipping of my bladder. I've always had a 'small' bladder, had kidney stones in the 6th grade. I got my period that year, I was 11 and ruined a tan pair of Dickies. Couldn't swim without a damned tampon.

Ladies, what woman gives her 11 year old daughter a fkin TAMPON! I have always thought that this woman was NOT my mother. You want to say that's from BP1 and call it the purest form of mania, then do it. Aaaaaaa then I stop! XD <3 XD You know who you are! I am BP1F51 then Jeezus Christos! Keep me strong :'(

Back to the vajayjay pains. Seriously, NEEDLE to it. So, I feel it, wait 2 weeks, make an appt and go see gp. My bladder could have slipped, because I've been holding my urine for longer and longer. You know, like those girls that piss like a horse! OMG! So, I don't think this is a gift from God. I get these sharp pains that make me wet my panties AND I get this ability to hold my piss for 4-8 hours. Maybe it's my bp meds, maybe I'm going manic. Man, I love fkin mania. Got to give Tommy my wallet and let him change my passwords. Aaaand stop!

So, slipped bladder and fibroids. Fibroids seemed a done deal with him. In my mind, because I never asked, my gp and I had this discussion in my head. I remember it as fact. 100% truth, and I skirt the truth A LOT. That's why I have an appt to see a tdoc in January! YEAH! I'm going to the one that charges by income and the highest is $12. Shit, I'll give them a $30 co-pay as a donation!

Let me get this posted and get back inside; I am sitting in the sun =] Listening to my favorite mix of mp3s.

Just your garden variety splash of mj-induced mania. I'm going off of mj for a few days to see how bad I need it. If I get clean for my yrly exam then I'm going to have my gp remove the 'long-term drug user' shit that's on my damned records. WTF!

This is why I use mj; I can go over the things that bothered me, make a list if needed. A couple of hours later, and I'm back to no-nonsense me =] But... I want to go cold turkey and see how my body/mind react.

Lisa.....have you been to an Urologist? or a GYN?......they're the specialists/best with this type of thing. GPs just don't know enough. Maybe you can get your GP to refer you to one if you don't already have one. No way would I go to a GP for this kind of stuff, except for a referral. Something to really think about.

Bladder slippage is also called prolapsed bladder, and can be caused by many things.Urinary leakage is a def sign. And holding your urine is a big no no. Not good for bladder or kidneys.

Why did you dc hormone replacement therapy and why? Sometimes they are used to treat prolapsed bladders, along with many other alternatives.

About tampons at an early age.......you weren't unusual....not at all......

I started wearing them right after the after the 5th grade.....Nothing unusual in that...... ;)

About the pot.......sounds like you got the wrong kind........should have got the less stimulating.......sounds like you needed a indica strain......lol

LMAO Mocha... I adore you! You have no idea how your posts/responses fit my own perceptions XD

My gp has to refer me to any other 'specialists'. I'm waiting for a call to set up an appt with a gyno now. They've probably left a message at work and I'll call back when I go in. I really don't know what's going on with the pains, but this week they've been coming more often and I woke in pain several times last night. I'm glad you mentioned not holding my bladder, I'll continue with the 30 minute to hourly trips then LOL

The estrogen replacement meds I was taking were a red clover extract and the company has gone under after some fictitious testing/reports. I'd been on it since I came out of a break and returned to the US in 2009, so 8 yrs. I'll ask about an estrogen replacement when I see this gyno about the pain. I've discussed estrogen with my pdoc and he says I absolutely need it.

As far as the mj is concerned, I'm in Texas. You know what that means, no control over what you get :/ Although now that you mention it, I know I am getting the very best by the price. I'll speak to a friend about the indica, but for now I want to lay off in case I need some type of surgery. Plus, I am way chatty when I imbibe late in the evenings and post like a maniac LOL

Good on the gyno referral....don't let gp put you off too long on the referral......in the meantime, drink cranberry juice, plain, not mixed with other types of juices. About the HRT.......yeah, def talk to gyno about the real deal, not the OTC stuff. I don't know what I would have done without them. Killed somebody maybe.........

But keep in mind your other health issues/history have to be considered before doc will Rx them......more to discuss with gyno.

oh yeah, I forgot you were in TX.......Maybe later on after your medical issues are resolved you can check into it.

Hope you feel better soon and keep us posted on your referral.

Ultrasound showed no issues with bladder, stones, and whatever else they were looking at - so no issues with meds. The tech did say, 'Now this noise is the blood going through your ovaries [dead silence]' She did the left and right sides with no sound. I noticed on my gp's notes that he said burning, which I told him was not the case when I saw him, just sharp pains that brought me to my knees. With the medical profession these days I guess you have to play games

I see him for a followup on 11/20, so I guess we move to female stuff next.

Yeah, no. He should f*cking listen to what you are saying about your own body, and you have every right to question him about it.

I agree with pan.......I'm lucky enough to have docs who listen and take everything I say very seriously. But I'm also very proactive about my care. All of us should be.

Lisa, next time you go in, before you go in, make a list of all the questions you have and give them to the doc. Otherwise you may forget what you want to ask him. Docs don't walk on water, even if they think they do..............

Insist they explain everything to you in detail. You're paying him for a service and he better be earning it.........

Lisa, I may be old skool, but I actually make a list on paper.......and show it to the doc and go over it with him. Easier than phone. But that's just me....... :)
