Man that brought back memories. I can remember in primary school they showed us a video in the school hall about awareness and human rights. Had images of the mushroom cloud from a nuclear bomb and the two songs that played in the background was Pink Floy'ds "Another brick in the wall" and Michael Jackson's "Heal the world"

Come to think of it it wasn't the original wording from Pink Floyd more just the soundtrack

Never heard of them. But they play catchy tunes...
Snowflakes gently floating from the sky just dusting the ground. Then it picks up bigger fatter flakes cascading from space at a faster rate. From a dusting to a trace. Then the deluge comes. Oh what joy. Watching everything slow to a crawl, then a stop. Step outside and even with things moving it is quiet. It is a giant muffler the earth is wearing. Causing everything to be muted. To be calm.

I'd like to offer you another cover. Of course you'll notice I'm partial to string band music ( i live in the south east u.s.) raised in Appalachian mountains. This is a cover of Bob Dylan's "Don't think twice" by The Infamous Stringdusters

I don't know if anyone's talked about this one yet, but not only is it a great song, I think a lot of people here can relate to it. "1-800-273-8255" by Logic featuring Alessia Cara and Khalid. The MTV VMA performance is especially good because they brought up survivors of suicide. One of them was crying on stage and I got choked up myself seeing it. :(

As you might notice, the song is named after the phone number for the Suicide Prevention Lifeline, which received a spike in phone calls when the song was released. If that isn't music written with a message in mind, then I don't know what is.
