I did housework today.

Don't all fall off your chairs at once

Tidied my room, made beds, changed/washed sheets and started clearing out a cupboard, chilled for a while watching iZombie and spinning and finished crocheting a blanket.

Nice topic Pancake!

Today I have finally recorded all my expenses and that of my mom! (I'm a complete disaster with bookkeeping) My man was obliged more times to take me away my debit/credit cards because I'm not able to keep well my records and then I have problems with the bank!!!

Good job Pancake and libellula. It takes alot to do anything sometimes. Plus to do things you don't normally do....

Successfully completed a difficult project this morning and turned it in to a very pleased boss.

I'm so proud of myself. My mom with her alzheimer is guest here in my new flat for the next 13 days. She has got daily crisis and for the moment I'm dealing quite good with her...the online problem is sleeping. She sleeps only three/four Hours per day and no medication could help her

Good for you, Shawn, fighting to do it anyway. I hope you feel accomplished!

Working from home on a Saturday sucks but I'm getting a lot done without all the interruptions!

Ducky working on the weekend is never the greatest thing to do. But you'll plug away till you get it done that's your usual self.

Did you manage to keep the icing off your face AG?

I really didn't want to run today. Why did I book myself in for a half marathon anyway? I wasn't prepared. I forced myself to get up on this very cold morning at 5am. I made it. Was so difficult my head kept telling me to stop but I forced myself to continue. It was a long way off my PB bug today that doesn't matter. What's important is that I made it.

Was dreading another weekend of Bill being gone, but I decided to be chipper and "happy" to get through taking care of Auntie no matter what - "kill her with kindness" so to speak. She's been such a grump the last few days even Bill couldn't deal with her. Well, it worked. We just had a lovely dinner with lively conversation, some additional information about BP, her telling me the horrors of her time as a nurse in a mental ward years ago (she was horrified by how they treated mental illness even then and so glad they don't do those things anymore). Talked about my daughter's childhood, our various holiday traditions. You name it, we probably talked about it!

She just went to bed, happy as can be, thanked me for dinner and a wonderful evening. I think we're both looking forward to breakfast in the morning.

Feel like I won the lottery!
