Hey all

I know I've mentioned it a few times on here so I wanted to post an update. We were in a huge custody battle for my stepson. Well, we won. Full physical custody and full legal decision making. We are so grateful to know to my stepson is going to be in a safe place from now on

Congratulations! Must be a relief to have that done and over with.

That's great to hear, And, LoveLace, even from here I can tell how much you love him, and that's a bit unusual for a stepmother :) .

I bet it made your holiday season that much more enjoyable for you all.. Congratulations...
Snowflakes gently floating from the sky just dusting the ground. Then it picks up bigger fatter flakes cascading from space at a faster rate. From a dusting to a trace. Then the deluge comes. Oh what joy. Watching everything slow to a crawl, then a stop. Step outside and even with things moving it is quiet. It is a giant muffler the earth is wearing. Causing everything to be muted. To be calm.

Thanks all.

And pancake I'm doing okay. Learning how to relax again. I expected a huge sense of relief but instead I seem to be slowly unwinding from all the anxiety. It's going to take some time. And I'll never be fully rid of the anxiety because we will always have to deal with his mother and she makes things extremely difficult.

It's been about 6 or so weeks since I've felt any depression though so I'm really happy about that
