I'm sure most of you guys have heard of Advance Care Directives for medical wishes. Here in CA, we also have Psychiatric Advance Directives...........It's a legal document.

They can't push any kind of psych treatment on you that you don't want, just like the reg. directive.

Not sure about other states.

As one who has Bipolar 1 and schizoaffective disorder and who takes Abilify with great success I would never need to be monitored .... mind you if I got to the stage where I was so far gone that I wasn't taking my medication I would want this device... I would never want to be out of control again.
