Abilify and extreme dizziness

Talk about meds, side effects, and the 'med-go-round'.

So I recently (11 days ago) started abilify. I started at 5mg. I also started diazepam, and tapered up to 100mg of Lamictal

Everytime I take the abilify, I get such bad vertigo, feeling like my brain is spinning, that it affects my vision and basically incapacitates my for a couple hours. I can't take it at bed because it keeps me awake, so I take it in the evening, giving it enough time to let myself sleep.

Should I be worried about such bad vertigo? It's making life... interesting.

Thanks.

"Take my love, take my land
Take me where I cannot stand
I don't care, I'm still free
You can't take the sky from me
Take me out to the black
Tell them I ain't coming back
Burn the land and boil the sea
You can't take the sky from me

There's no place I can be
Since I've found Serenity
But you can't take the sky from me

I have nothing profound to share but that seems like a lot of simultaneous changes. When I was titrating up on lamictal, it always messed with me a bit. Seroquel? A breeze. Lamictal, not so much.

Is there a drug information leaflet in the pack? It should list side effects, and whether you should see your dr about them sooner rather than later.

It's considered a mild side effect that needs no medical attention. Just with all the meds I think it's hitting me harder than it normally would. I'll let my pdoc know on my next appointment.
